THE MANATEE ADVENTURE
Overview
This is the perfect way to stay dry and view the magnificent Wild West Indian Manatee. Just five minutes off the coast of Belize City, view these fascinating breasted water mammals in their safe haven of @Swallow Caye and the surrounding warm waters and feeding grounds… You will enjoy creeping along the coast of the old capital as we traverse the Belize River— a perfect way to remain rested while enjoying the scenic cityscape.
On our first stop, we visit Swallow Caye, a small island protected by mangroves and coral reefs. Here you will spot the magnificent Wild West Indian Manatees. You will also follow their trail and view the seagrass beds that they feed on. We then head east along another set of mangrove range for a final spotting! This peaceful, slow, early sunrise sea cruise departs from the Ramada pier at 6:30 a.m. and returns by 9:00 am.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
